Modern Jiangnan Beer Music is not just a restaurant; it's a journey. The design was inspired by the owner's extensive experience in the bar industry and a two-year exploration and market research process. The result is a unique concept of a beer music restaurant, a place where food, drink, and entertainment coalesce into a singular, unforgettable experience.
The restaurant's design is characterized by dynamic stratification. The outer facade is divided into upper and lower layers, with the prime position designated as a hollow space. The first floor houses a stage and a 3-meter-high LED screen, while the second floor features a stand-like design reminiscent of a European Opera House, allowing guests on the upper floor to enjoy performances on the first floor.
The design realization technology employed in the restaurant is a blend of understated elegance and industrial chic. The silvery sheen of beer barrels and zijin copper create a metallic texture, while smoky gray granite used on the walls, floors, and dining tables adds a touch of quiet sophistication. The natural black, white, and gray of the stone material balance the grandiose tone of the space, resulting in a gorgeous yet casual sensory experience.
The restaurant spans three floors and an outdoor space, covering a total area of 1200 square meters. It's not just a music restaurant but also a craft beer production factory. Twenty-two beer fermentation barrels full of modern industrial atmosphere are scattered throughout the space. The craft brewing equipment area covers the first and second floor space, and the beer flows between different equipment through established procedures. A black spiral staircase serves as the exclusive channel for winemakers to manage the brewing process precisely.
Modern Jiangnan Beer Music is located in Qiantang River Century Park, in the city center of Hangzhou. The restaurant's landmark door is a silhouette of a beer bottle made of concave white luminous material, standing from the first floor to the third floor at a height of 9.9 meters. The windows on the outer edge of the second floor are designed with electric folding, drawing the connection between indoor and outdoor landscape closer. This design allows guests to see the flickering lights on the other side and feel the fresh river breeze.
This design is the recipient of the prestigious Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. The award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. They are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
